CBSE Board Exam 2021 Exam Dates Announced - Check Schedule Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the datasheet of classes 10 and 12 examinations on 2 February 2021. The exams are scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 10 in offline mode. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the datasheet through a video message and wished students for the exams.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE at

Step 2: Click on the link for CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exam date sheet under the ‘Latest@CBSE’ tab on the homepage

Step 3: CBSE board exams date sheet will be displayed

1. For CBSE Class 10

a. Mathematics - May 21

b. Science - May 15

c. Hindi - May 10

In 2020, the exam schedule was of 45 days, however, in 2021 exam schedule is of 39 days. Therefore, six days less is taken to conduct the exams in 2021. However, CBSE claims to have given “sufficient” time between exams of two main subjects to help students prepare.

Due to the covid lockdown, the syllabus for both class 10 and 12 exams has been reduced by 30 percent. The board exams will have 33 percent internal choice questions. 

The majority of the states have reopened the schools for Class 10 and 12 to prepare for the upcoming board examinations. The schools will conduct the practical exams from March 1.

The exams will be held following the COVID-19 pandemic protocols, wearing a face mask, carrying hand sanitizers will be a must and social distancing will be maintained.
